Some countries that hold tremendous opportunity for American companies are also unfortunately often corrupt. How can American companies compete against competitors in environments with little or no enforcement of anti-corruption laws? Is it a virtue that builds trust in a time of anti-corruption activism to communicate that you are unable and unwilling to engage in corrupt activities? And what are some of the challenges that countries and provinces face in eradicating corruption?
