Corporate social responsibility can take many forms: from giving back to a community that supports your operations, to building trust in an environment where good will toward government and foreigners is low. Having a strong CSR strategy will insulate your operations from local risks whole proactively building a relationship with a key audience for your company. CSR is an excellent mode of thinking for confronting some of the challenges companies face in resonating with foreign audiences.
