Enea Fochesato

 

Enea Fochesato is the founding partner of Jus&Trade – Fochesato Law Firm, based in Milan and established in 2008 to provide to its global clients legal advisory focused on EU trade and customs law, free trade agreements entered into by the EU, supply chain security as well as customs and tax litigation.
Before founding his practice, Mr. Fochesato served many years as a senior attorney at Ernst & Young Legal and oversaw many cross-border transactions, also providing valuable insights into customs, tax and trade related matters.

 

His name also appeared in the prominent Italian legal magazine “Top Legal” as the professional who assisted an US corporation in a large cross-border transaction with a well-known Italian company.

 

Mr. Fochesato’s law firm is committed to providing tailor made legal advice to global clients in the setting up or expansion of their legal structure and import/export customs operations across Italy and Europe, implementing legitimate duty saving scenarios, as well as limiting legal liabilities and risks.

 

Mr. Fochesato is frequently invited to speak at conferences on customs and trade related matters. In this respect, in May 2015 he gave a speech in front of the business community of Seoul, about the implementation of the EU/South Korea free trade agreement.
He has been published in well-known Italian law journals, such as “International Trade” (“Commercio Internazionale”) and “Contracts” (“I Contratti”). He was also author of an article about supply chain security in the magazine “Logistics” (“Logistica”).

 

Mr. Fochesato regularly attends meetings and forums held by the World Customs Organization (WCO). He is also a member of the International Network of Customs Universities (INCU).

 

He is admitted as attorney in Italy and he can represent clients before the European Court of Justice.
