Stephen Armstrong is the co-founder of MAPLE Business Council®, an executive-level organization promoting cross-border investment, trade and entrepreneurship between Southern California and Canada and among Southern California businesses with ties to Canada. MAPLE is recognized on both sides of the border as the leading private organization focused on Canada-Southern California business relations.
With a 30-year career in B2C and B2B marketing from start-ups to Fortune 200 brands in Canada, the United States and México, Mr. Armstrong is the principal of The 360 Marketer, a marketing strategy and communications consultancy working with clients in multiple sectors across North America.
Prior to establishing his own practice, Mr. Armstrong spent 12 years as head of marketing for Canadian and Southern California-based healthcare information technology companies with U.S. and international responsibilities. He was a founding executive of Patient Care Technology Systems, a developer of real-time location workflow solutions for hospitals.
Mr. Armstrong has a consumer marketing background having held national marketing positions with Pizza Hut as part of PepsiCo and Yum! Brands responsible for menu development, national commercializations and business unit marketing and with Pillsbury in Canada and the U.S. An Honors Business Administration graduate of the Ivey School of Business at Western University in London, Canada, Mr. Armstrong has lived and worked in five countries on two continents. He is a co-founder of Canadians in Orange County, serves on the board of MAPLE Business Council and is a member of the LA County Business Federation, MENG, and the Hong Kong Association of Southern California.
